HOW TO REBUILD THE POLISH CONSCIOUSNESS

In the recent years we have noticed exceptionally many attacks against the Church, against priest-bishops and against priests. In the dimension of the general Church we also register more and more attacks against the very Holy Father Benedict XVI. It is a very strong attack against the Church, clergy and the Catholics. We are often the witnesses of burglaries into convents, strong critics of the monastery life – the onset is enormous. »
A TASK OF MOTHERHOOD IS ETERNITY

Mother, mum, mummy...There are still many other words which refer to our mother. However, these words will not be enough for the content of this holy notion which is connected with motherhood. Today we go further with our thought and heart towards her who gave birth to us, fed us and brought up us and always loved us. ‘I love you’ – these are the words, whose meaning a man learns just from mother and which we remember and pronounce from the beginning of our life. »

May is one of the most beautiful months in the year. First of all, we enjoy a special prayer in it and singing to Our Lady, being gathered at May Divine Services. A man, who loves, wants to talk about it, sing and adore the name of one whom he loves, especially when these are God and Jesus’ Mother. And what is alive in us, is so honestly grateful, joyful and full of glory. »

Resurrection is a great sign of a living God. We remember from the Exodus Book that God Yahweh answered Moses’ question that he is who is (see 3,14). The essence of God involves the fact that he simply is, that he lives. God’s life has been revealed expressively in the fact of Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus has risen from death and is with us, he lives. He is always alive. »

The State does not like something in the Church again, that is: too many priests are employed in the military ordinariate. As a result, the liquidation of a few posts of the priests is being planned. Let’s note the situation which has taken a place in Spain recently when the socialist and the enemy of the Church – Jose Luis Zapatero was governing. He started introducing reforms connected with the anti-church legislation concerning the ethics and Christian morality. »

The issue of finances of the Church has appeared in the forums of media again. The Church is accused of vast wealth and greediness. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who believe in these fairy tales especially that the stories are supported by the journalists of highly-circulated newspapers or by television and radio stations and they are reaching to a very wide number of the society. »

I remember a conversation in the 80s of the previous century with a pensioner who said that she wanted her daughter to retire at that time because she would have had a peaceful life as her mother, she would have had an assured existence and she would have been happy. »

Liquidation of the Education Ministry? It does sound unbelievable, as if it was the biggest absurd. But we also ask another question: didn’t such a thought come to the mind of people who learnt that a school is being liquidated in their village? This is a dramatic situation. Are we allowed to liquidate schools which educated many generations of the residents in various villages...? »
